Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and participate in many different activities during the school day. The activities range from academic to games in subjects such as math and reading. They also like to participate in activities that will help them develop their socio-emotional skills such as fair play and teamwork.

The games that I am requesting to be funded will help the students understand complex math concepts as well as developing their socio-emotional skills.

Playing Cards - The playing cards will help the students understand number sense as they are solving complex math problems.

Board and Table Games - The games that I am requesting will help the students understand the importance of fair play and teamwork. Those are important traits to do well not only in the classroom, but also in society.
