My students are at a variety of learning levels from kindergarten through fourth grade. Your donation helped me purchase post easel pads, which I use for a variety of reasons. The main reason I use them for us to create anchor charts while actively teaching. These are then hung throughout my room for the students to reference throughout the year. Using poster size paper allows me to add color and pictures and large print. This makes it more appealing for students to look at and easier for them to see. \r\n\r\nYour donation also purchased snacks for my students. We have a long period of time between breakfast and lunch and this allows for them to have a little bit of fuel to keep them learning.\r\n\r\nMy classroom is supplied with flexible seating for my students which allows them to be comfortable while learning. Learning with color has had a huge impact on my students. As a fourth grade class, it is sad to say that we have many students who are more than 2 years behind grade level in all subject areas. Using color to teach the students reading, writing and math concepts makes it easier for the students to find the standards we are working on in a timely with much less of a struggle.\r\n\r\nOur most recent project that we have used the colored printer for is our Black History Month Project. My students have been enjoying and making great use of all the materials purchased and sent to us since September.\r\nThe numbered pop-it fidgets come in handy when we're adding within 10.\r\nThe part-part-whole materials are used everyday as we work on decomposing numbers, generally under the number 20.\r\nThe ten frames were used heavily in September and we have now flipped over the erasable ten frames, that shows up to 20, since they're now working with teen numbers.\r\nThe biggest hit are the number lines with little characters that move across the number line as we add and subtract with smaller numbers.
