My Project

My school is one of four middle schools in the largest school district in New Hampshire. My students come from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, and many of my students are English Language Learners.

My students are amazing, they face many challenges every day, but still come to school motivated and excited to learn new things.

My students love to read books in the library. When they come into the library, I see them light up when they are allowed to check books out to take home and read. For many of my students, these are the only books that they have access to outside of school. Many reluctant readers choose chapter books with sports themes. I would love to provide them more books in this section that are more representative and up to date.
