My Project

What is your favorite sport? Our students love fishing, football, rodeo, gymnastics, cheerleading, baseball, etc. I want to get Jake Maddox books about sports that are exciting for our students. It is hard to get middle school students to read, especially boys. They are asking for Jake Maddox sports books. I am excited they are actually wanting to read! Our school library really needs updating on our books. Our library only gets a small amount of money for books a year. Getting new books will help excite our students to read more.

Reading brings a whole new world to a child.

Our students need new books to help with their reading comprehension and to reach their Accelerated Reader goals. Our students also use reading to take a mental break and get away from the world for a while.
