My Project

One of the units in the brand new course AP Precalculus is Polar Coordinates. This is the first time that students are being exposed to polar coordinates.

The use of spirographs will help students understand what the graphs can look like on a polar graph.

Most of my students have never had the experience of playing with a Spirograph kit when they were kids. The use of spirographs can really help them get a deeper understanding. And it can help math be fun!
