My Project

I have done my best to create an environment where students feel comfortable to explore their interests, create, and take chances. My students know they can come to me and ask for certain supplies and if I don't have them I will do my best to figure out a way to get them. I have a group of girls who are extremely creative and they have been designing and creating paper dolls and clothes for them. While the girls and I were talking they mentioned how cool it would be if they could make actual clothes, and that is how this project all started.

Who knows the next Coco Chanel just might be one of those girls, help me enrich and foster a love of creativity and learning, these fashion design kits will help students build their imagination and creativity.

By donating to this project you are giving students an opportunity to express themselves through the fashion items they design, strengthening their sense of identity and self-expression with the fashion kits requested. As students are creating their designs they will learn to problem-solve and adapt, enhancing their critical thinking abilities, enhance hand/eye coordination and fine motor skills.
