This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to provide a LEGO SPIKE PRIME set and expansion set for my Title 1 school. The pieces will be used to create and code a robot for FIRST LEGO League competitions. We have one robot, but it isn't enough for all students to engage. Having a second robot will help us compete because we can practice cooperative point scoring with two robots and also decompose missions into two teams.

My rookie team competed for the first time in an FLL competition this year, and 100% of the students who competed said it was one of their favorite curricular experiences!

I hope to keep the momentum going while still providing learning opportunities for our team to grow.
