Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kiddos are incredible! They are faced with learning disabilities, but they always come in ready to face new challenges and learn. We have created the Clubhouse for them to enjoy the magic and wisdom of Disney.
In our class, we believe in this saying: "If you can dream it, you can do it!" We work hard to instill that belief every day.
In the Clubhouse, we offer a safe and nurturing environment and strive to find fun ways to teach.
We want all of our kids to experience love, kindness, success, and a little bit of magic every day!
My Project
The challenge we have in resource is finding new and fun ways to teach our kiddos who need various strategies to assist them in their education.
They use and enjoy things that they can touch and interact with, so Plugo Letters will be perfect for them!
They've used Plugo Math and love the stories, graphics and skills and because they are engaged, they learn! The best part is this program is that it is self-correcting so they also learn to problem solve if needed, or feel instant gratification when they complete a challenge.
My hope is to further their language, grammar, reading and comprehension with this STEM related "game" so they can be more successful in other aspects of learning.
