My Students
Our school serves students of diverse backgrounds in grades 9-12. We provide rigorous academics and strive to inspire a passion for learning while preparing our students to be global citizens.
Our student body is one of great economic and cultural diversity.
More than 50% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Many of our students qualify for ESL services as several different languages are spoken by members of our community. Our dedicated staff works to serve the needs of all.
My Project
Imagine a seamless integration of science, math, and technology. You have entered the Sphero classroom. Here students will learn about the physics concepts of distance, speed, and acceleration. Students will give life to Spheros as they learn to code. They will use graphical analysis to calculate the difference between distance and displacement. They will calculate speed and acceleration. They will conduct multiple trials and calculate average values. AND they will be learning coding as they use Sphero to master challenges through project based learning. Sphero in the classroom will increase student engagement and motivation as it fosters the development of twenty-first century skills.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
