This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are thoughtful, funny, and full of questions. They love hands-on materials that help them reach their goals. My students range from kindergarten to 5th grade. They come from all different types of classrooms.

My students are always engaged during sessions when they have manipulatives and due to COVID teletherapy makes it harder for students to become engaged Since we are back in person this year manipulative are imperative to achieve their goals.

Each student on my caseload loves learning and enjoys coming to speech. My students love materials that are hands-on, which help them be more engaged and helps increase their understanding of concepts.

My Project

All of my students have been impacted by the Pandemic in some way shape or form. These materials will help my students continue to learn and grow. My students learn best with hand on materials and these materials will help my students be engaged and focused during our sessions.

Since all the students are in person this year, these materials will be so helpful in teaching the skills that have been lost or shown regression on.

With fun and engaging activities the students won't realize how much they are actually learning!
