Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My young scholars visit my Speech Room one-to-four times weekly to improve their communication skills during their speech therapy sessions. They benefit from Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) to enrich behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and mental health. Motivating and engaging incentives are an important component of our classroom rewards and token economy system.
Providing high interest, multi-modality rewards creates positive, predictable, equitable and safe learning experiences for my students.
They love setting goals and are excited when they earn their rewards! This project will provide plushies, fidgets, desk pets, coloring books, and other prizes to be earned through our Speech Room Rewards program. Thank you in advance for inspiring my students to master their goals, as well as rewarding their behavior and achievements!
