My students need colored folders to help them organize their speech-language work. Every grade will be assigned their own color to help students quickly locate their individualized work.
I teach children who have special needs in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. I serve approximately 75 students, with many additional students moving in and out of the district throughout the school year.
My students are eager to master new speech and language skills.
With so many students, we need a simple way to stay organized. Every student needs an easy to identify folder to hold their individualized work so we do not waste any time trying to get organized when they enter the speech therapy room.
My Project
My speech-language students will greatly benefit from having folders. All of my stuents have special needs and each student has an individualzied education plan (IEP) that includes personalized goals to help them improve their speech and/or language skills. This means every student requires work and therpay materials catered to their own unique goals.
By donating to our project, you are providing each student with a way to organize their individualed work, which helps them to reach their goals and improve their communication abilities.
The folders will also enable students to quickly access their work and therapy materials. This helps us to spend every second they are in the speech room working towards mastering their speech-langauge goals instead of wasting precious time digging for their materials. This will help my students to grow their skills even more quickly!
