This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are rocking and rolling this year! My students are working so hard. They are resilient and work in any area I bring them to. Before Covid, I used to have the best set up to work with small groups. We had a great kidney table where I could easily access all kids. We had all of our materials readily available in our area or on display on our easel.

Covid took those materials away!

With Covid, we had to get rid of a lot of those things to ensure we were following all safety protocols. In that process, many of my things have disappeared or found new homes. We've been making it work, but wouldn't it be amazing if we could end the year by creating a space where they can all learn comfortably!
