It is a space where they can take risks and be creative. They come in ready to learn every day! \r\n\r\nYou truly made this space into what it is with your donations. The colorful and glittery markers made working with new words much more engaging and fun. They especially loved the glitter markers and colorful dry erase markers. Sometimes word work like this can feel kind of dry, so this really helps make the hard work a lot more exciting. We also used the binders to turn our reading curriculum from paper and pencil work into colorful dry erase marker work using sheet protectors. They also LOVED using the fun pointers to point to sight words that each student is working on in our new pocket charts. These new materials really helped add some fun to our reading sessions. With your support, we were able to purchase materials that have greatly enhanced our sight word recognition, reading fluency, and comprehension. The \"Fishing for Sight Words\" activity has quickly become a classroom favorite, and the students request it often. The Sight Word Activity Chest has been invaluable in targeting both reading and writing skills, while the Sight Word Sentence Match has been a wonderful tool in boosting fluency and picture comprehension. The phonics workbook has been a real time-saver, providing me with useful materials for morning work as students arrive at school.\r\n\r\nIn addition to these fantastic learning tools, the students have thoroughly enjoyed the seat cushions, kinetic sand, and squishy fidget toys.
