This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a special education teacher that is always looking for ways to have my student included in every aspect of our elementary school. This time, the GE students will be included in our special day. This year we are hosting a Special Olympic event at our school site. I would love to have small fidget toys for our GE students to pass out to our Special Athletes that are having trouble waiting in line for their skills events. We are inviting students from all over the Central Valley. What better way to spend the day than cheering on these Special Athletes and giving them a small outlet to help them stay focused and relaxed.
