My Project

My TK classroom serves students with disabilities, and they need new furniture, sensory items, and toys. Their current classroom furniture can be really uncomfortable and is not suited to their needs. My hope is to transform our space into something my students don't need to survive, but a space where they can thrive.

By requesting things like noise-cancelling headphones, sensory tents, and modular couches, students can adjust, students are more likely to be able to access the curriculum.

Many of my students don't just need these objects, but they require access to them to function.

I adore my students and want to see them succeed. They are some of the most charming, funniest, and outgoing children I have ever gotten the opportunity to work with. Ensuring they have access to a good education is my highest priority, and I appreciate any help to make that happen.
