Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My special education students have unique personalities and they are very talented. They are in class support which gives assistance to learn to socialize with other classmates. My special education students need assistive technology like communication devices, boards, visual schedule, visual cards and others in order to participate and communicate with classmates as well as participating in class. It is an opportunity to enhance more of their ideas and their creativity on their projects.

My students are currently in regular pre-k and it is a great opportunity for them to gain knowledge and to be familiar with the interaction in a general education environment and the expectancies.

Transitions may not be easy for my students but my In Class Support team and myself want our students to make progress and succeed in the future.

Also, we plan to donate part of the materials to the Early Childhood Special Education class, and to the Art class in order to help more students to succeed.

We are so thankful for all your help with the first project. We will really appreciate your collaboration in this new project and our students are going to use and enjoy all the materials.
