My Project

In our classroom, we strive to foster independence, confidence, and a love for learning. However, many of our students thrive best when lessons are highly structured, visual, and hands-on.

This project seeks to implement Task Work Systems (structured, independent work stations) that allow students to practice and master academic and life skills on their own.

By providing clear boundaries and predictable routines, these systems reduce anxiety, minimize downtime, and empower students to say, "I did it all by myself!"

Students need clear physical boundaries to understand where "unfinished" work sits and where "completed" work goes. Color-coded bins reduce cognitive overload, allowing students to focus entirely on the task at hand rather than trying to figure out where things belong.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
