My Project

My young students love coming to school every day! They are excited to see their friends, engage in learning, and most importantly play. A lot of learning and development occurs when young children play and that is supported by a classroom full of engaging high-interest toys. These materials are selected to help meet the needs of students on the autism spectrum and with speech and language delays.

My students need musical instruments for self-expression, movement, and play!

Music is an important part of our large group learning time. My students love to sing and dance together. We do daily dance and movement experiences. I want to expand those experiences and make them more immersive by introducing musical instruments. It's also a foundation for future musical skills as we practice state standards of creating music and dance.
