Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The items requested will help us take care of our new classroom pets. Our classroom pets will help my students learn about responsibilities along with so much more. My students will learn about trust, compassion, respect, connection, empathy, and patience. They will learn to take care of something other than themselves, such as how to feed the ferrets, how to clean the ferrets home, and how to take turns being a zoologist.
My goal for this project is that my students will learn to work together when taking care of our class pets as well as working together to keep our ferrets healthy and happy.
