This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are in need of more nonfiction books to read. These books will enhance their reading skills while also providing them with lessons on America’s involvement in World War II.

These books will be used in conjunction with history classes to read firsthand accounts of soldiers’ lives during this conflict.

The wonderful part is that the book explains actual historical events during WWII tank battles, but from both sides of the conflict.

My students are naturally curious and enjoy reading books relating actual historical events and the impact these events have on people. I know they will truly enjoy these books.
