My Students

I am the PRe-K teacher at a rural community school. Our school is 47 % minority population with 98% students that receive free or reduced lunches. We have students that are Native American,

Burmese, African American, Hispanic, Caucasian, and many others.

Please help me bring excitement and awe to the classroom, themed learning makes each new topic an amazing experience. Help me take my students to the shores of the Ocean, jump right into the farm in hands-on and fun ways. Stimulate all of the senses to aid in learning and engagement.

Reading subjects are perfectly matched with each theme so that learning is a totally immersive experience. If the students look forward to new subjects and learn to embrace all cultures, beliefs and learn in a way that sparks a passion for learning. Students will grow up appreciating differences and similarities that make us all beautifully and wonderfully made.

My Project

Math, science and learning are foundational skills for students, math manipulative swill help students learn outside of traditional methods. Students will be able to use tools to help understand the concept that is being taught. Helping the students understand that we live in a planet and stars are vast is not something easy for their minds to navigate. I am hoping that the kits and star projector will help them embrace the wonders of our world and the importance to protect it.

The cultural box will help students to better understand each other’s cultures and cultures of the world.

I am trying to teach the students fundamental skills and how to see the world with open eyes. Students that learn to embrace the similarities and uniqueness of each other will grow into adults that work together and make the world a better place.
