This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are eager to learn and engage, but my classroom is currently lacking in opportunities to meet their enthusiasm. Please help me reach developing minds as they learn the critical subject of US History.

These games and map will help my students visualize and internalize our lessons in an engaging, hands-on way.

I work in a Title I school, and the reading difficulties our students experience can make the primary sources and textbooks difficult to access. These games will help them learn info in easy to digest bits, and the map will help the students nail down the geography of the country and see how the nation developed.

As a new teacher, my classroom has sorely lacked for these types of learning opportunities. These resources will help me increase history and geography literacy in my classroom.
