Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Working with Bilingual students is a very rewarding job. Seeing students learn two languages at once is exciting to see. Seeing my students compare and contrast between the two languages (English and Spanish) is exciting.

I plan to use these new materials to continue targeting many of their language goals, including, synonyms and antonyms, prepositions, the use of nouns and verbs in an exciting and meaningful way.

I have noticed that students are more inclined to participate when there are visuals involved. That is why, I chose many different types of flash cards in order to encourage them with the use of pictures. I am so appreciative of Donors Choose!
