Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love how excited my students are to visit the library each week. They love reading and discovering new books. Our school is a dual-language school, with half of our classes being a Spanish Immersion Program. Our English medium classes also have many native Spanish speakers. However, our school library has predominantly English language books. Please help me grow the Spanish collection of books in our library so there are more options for my Spanish immersion students and my native Spanish speakers! It's my dream to have more equality in the percentage of English and Spanish books so that it fits the population of students we serve.
