Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

What an unprecedented time our youngest learners are experiencing! They have only been on this Earth for a few years and 3 of those have been during a pandemic! They are experiencing all of this and now are expected to learn.

I would like to provide a calming room where my students can go for a short time and just relax, listening to music, drink hot chocolate, and get a massage.

This is a follow-up project to a previous one. This project will add elements like water features, hot chocolate bar, candy, and oils to make our calming room even cooler! This would become a regular and important part of our student's schedules. Somewhere that would allow them a little time to escape from the worries and realities they are facing every day. This time will become an important part of their emotional well-being.
