My students need new speakers and headphones to using during our interactive activities. I am also requesting an engraver so we can keep track of our materials.

My Students

Middle school is often overlooked but it is a very important stepping stone to prepare students for the rigors of high school. It is also a time for students to discover who they are.

Over half of my students are from low-income households and 10% of my students have special educational needs.

All of my students deserve a chance to better themselves through education. My goal is to help pique their interest in science and to prepare them for a career in a science field.

My Project

My students and I are requesting a new speaker system and headphones for our classroom.

We love to watch science videos and work through interactive STEM activities on our SMART Board as a class.

The new speakers will allow everyone to clearly hear what is being said in the videos and activities.

Having some headphones in the classroom for students to use allows different students to work on different things without disrupting each other. This works great with small group and independent STEM activities.

Finally, we are requesting an engraver so that we can put our class name and room number on all of our new equipment. This way, we can keep better track of our materials and they will be available whenever we need them.
