Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at our elementary school are a diverse group of individuals that represent us with pride. They are often excited and precocious young people that are striving for betterment of themselves and their families. By dedicating their days to scholastic achievement, they are improving not only in academia but in life skills. Our school is filled with students that are showing their teachers that, yes, "they can" on a daily basis. By representing themselves, their community, and our school, they are what makes our school so awesome.

My Project

In our classroom, we need a quality stereo system that will allow the students to listen, learn, and get moving. The surround sound system will allow the students to sing along and move while the teacher can teach freely throughout the classroom. Also, the supplemental performance DVD's, like BLAST and Blue Man Group, will share a new and exciting visual, auditory, and kinesthetic experience of performance and music. Lastly, the sheet music and Baby Beluga performance material will offer an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents and perform for friends, school, and family. The goal of this project is to promote music and movement that "Sounds Like Learning".
