Soundless Classroom for Expanded Minds

Help me give my students their own headphones to ensure a quiet environment. When students computers make noises, it takes away from the education of small group instruction. The pencils and glue sticks are daily used items! :)

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I added headphones to my classroom's wishlist because my students use Chromebooks during their independent work. I have 16 students in my classroom. During independent work time, I am meeting with small groups of students who need a little extra assistance. If the remainder of my students are on their computers with their sounds on, the noise distraction tends to take away from the learning time if those students who need the extra help. My goal is to utilize the headphones to make our classroom computer time a little more quiet.

The pencils and glue are items that we use on a regular basis.

We can never get enough pencils and glue in our classroom! :)
