This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My scholars are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! This year, our science instruction includes inquiry-based learning which emphasizes the student's role in the learning process. My 90 scientists will be encouraged to explore various materials, ask questions, share ideas, and conduct both research and experiments to find their answers.

My 4th-grade scientists love hands-on, active, engaging projects and research that both challenge them and allows them to think outside the box!

As a school, which is nestled in a wonderful rural community in Arizona, incorporates a variety of learning strategies, collaboration, for wonderful and engaging learning opportunities.

My Project

Technology creates amazing learning opportunities and an effective learning strategy! Meaning, integrating technology into my classroom is an effective way to connect with my student's various learning styles. These 8 tablet donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of the world through inquiry-based learning, increase both research opportunity times and academic achievement.

Technology encourages both individual learning and collaboration, increases learning life skills through technology, and improves engagement.

But to the point, my 4th-grade scientist will use these daily to research different science concepts which will help them learn how to both ask and answer their questions, they will be able to capture both on video and through images their research and labs along with publishing their results.
