Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing first graders! All of my students are energetic and vibrant learners who want to explore the world around them. They are motivated and eager to learn. I always try to provide them with a classroom full of hands-on activities and group projects.

My students always try their best no matter what obstacle is in their way.

Whenever my students enter the classroom they know they are in a safe/caring/loving place and they can leave all their troubles at the door. My students are not just my students, they are my family and I will do anything for them.

My Project

I am asking for 18 seat cushions for our classroom. These seats will be used as a part of our flexible seating design. They will also be used for individual students who have a hard time sitting still in their chairs during independent work time at their tables. I want our learning space to increase levels of engagement, foster active learning, and support the learning goals of my students.

The impact of having somewhere new and fun to read will continue to engage my students in reading and essential literacy work.

I would love for my class to feel comfortable and find a special seat around the classroom.
