This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our students are incredibly passionate about learning! Our students come from all over the world, and speak many languages such as Arabic, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Mandarin, and Spanish to name a few! They are caring, creative, and curious!

If a new student or faculty member joins our community, our students are welcoming, generous, and accommodating.

Located in the San Francisco Tenderloin district, our school serves a diverse population of students with varying needs. Scholars at our school are motivated to learn, explore, and promote positive community values in and out of school.

My Project

We are beginning our school year with online learning, but I will need essential supplies to teach students in person. I will need notebooks for writing, individual sets of crayons and pencil bags, as well as folders for student organization. A socially distant classroom requires careful planning and preparation for this to be a safe transition.

Primary grades will most likely resume in-person instruction before other students.

Therefore, I need writing tools and individual supplies as soon as possible! Creative writing, art, and mathematical practice will blossom with your help.
