My Project

My middle school students are curious about science, nature, and the way the world works. They love to learn with their hands. I would love to add to solar robots to my Lego creating class. Learning through play is my ultimate goal to help students understand harder concepts.

I would like to add the Sillbird Solar robots to our class.

I feel like the addition of how solar works in comparison to how the battery operated robots we currently build will make for some fun learning and interesting conversations. I am envisioning, races against each other, revisions and more races. Can a solar powered robot beat a battery operated one?
