Soil is the Foundation for Life

Help me give my students the equipment they need to better understand the properties of soil in our environment.

My Project

Students will learn how soil is formed and what it is composed of. They will also learn how the nutrients from dead and decaying matter enter the soil and benefit the life processes of plants and animals.

Students will learn that some types of soil hold nutrients and water differently than other types of soil.

These science kits will give my students a hands on learning experience in better understanding soil properties and how it is formed. The donations for this project will help my students understanding of the benefits of healthy soil and why we need to protect it from destruction and pollution.
