Our elementary is an incredible school that serves a variety of families. The students come from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Ours is a Title I school with the majority of our students receiving free or reduced-price lunch.
Our school serves a working class neighborhood with families from all around the world.
Many of our children are new immigrants and speak a variety of languages. In addition we also serve a large number of military families. Help us enrich the lives of these great kids and set them on a path to success.
Students will use these games to begin an after school club that promotes thinking, socializing, and a life long love of playing games.
Board games are a way for students to develop strategic thinking skill while also developing a sense of fair play.
Present day students spend hours in front of screens, but never actually connect with anyone. Playing board games is a way to develop creative thinking and strategic skills, while at the same time making life long friends. Becoming part of this hobby will be something students can enjoy for the rest of their lives with both friends, and family.
