Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project focuses on practical manipulatives and tools to help our youngest learners identify their feelings, express themselves, and solve problems. I have included many small figurines that I use in my school counseling practice in a variety of ways. Students can use the figures to act out something that happened at recess, express their feelings, or show me what their family looks like.

My young students learn best through activities and play.

These manipulatives will help them to express themselves in an enjoyable and age appropriate way. I have also included additional seating options for my small office that will fit my youngest students. I use my office for counseling groups and additional stackable seating would be very helpful for my bigger groups. Thank you for your consideration of my project.
