Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a sixth grade teacher, of ESL and Social Studies. My students have various levels of English, and it is very helpful to them to see, witness history.
The social studies books are very hard for most of my students to understand. Therefore they need different level books, with pictures to understand the content of social studies.
The resources my students need to understand the social studies are social studies books with beautiful pictures of the country, its culture and history.
