My Project

The Graphic Novel books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. A place where students can learn social studies and history and enjoy learning social studies through various methods. The graphic novel unit will help students apply social studies and history topics through reading books that are easier and more at their grade levels and interests. It will make learning more attainable. The graphic novel unit will focus on independent reading, summarizing, and personal narrative writing (Giving the student a voice to share their own history).
