My Project

Each year, students in the 5th grade need to learn about the events that led to the American Revolution.

Our Social Studies books are old and don't have the most engaging format.

With this project's funding, I will get several children's books to help engage my students as we learn about the events that led to the American Revolution. We will then make our books with articles and notes about the most important events. We will use the pouches and glue sticks to create and house the books.

Teaching social studies can be challenging at this age. I need to do everything I can to make it more engaging. I can do just that with your support and the addition of these great children's books.
