Social Studies Craft Supplies for English Learners
Help me give my students wipes and art supplies for our social studies curriculum, including sticky notes to indicate comprehension and glue sticks to attach images to concepts.
US History has a lot of concepts to understand, in addition to a lot of new vocabulary. Using their creativity, my students have been able to express their understanding of this new-to-them history, as well as demonstrate their curiosity.
Through colorful design and these art supplies, my students will acquire an understanding of both the English language and US History.
Your support goes towards each student taking ownership of their space by keeping it tidy, as well as having the materials they need to express their comprehension.
Students are also able to show me where they need more support, and we are able to practice useful vocabulary that is helpful in any classroom, such as asking desk mates to pass a material and reinforcing their knowledge of colors and school supplies.
