Help me give my students a little spot book and curriculum set, fidget balls, kinetic sand tools, weighted animals for calming and other calming tools to help them learn how to identify, manage, and regulate their emotions.
Specific items like The Little Spot Books, Characters, and white boards can help organize and guide my therapy sessions with students who need support with Emotional identification and regulation. The notebooks help my students keep track of their learning and have a take away to display their newly gained skills. The fidget toys can help my students reset their bodies and brains for learning during daily breaks. The Weighted stuffed animals help my students calm their minds and emotional reactions when in crisis mode.
My goal for this project is to provide my students with the curriculum, tools and strategies to learn how to manage big feelings in their tiny bodies.
My district is facing massive budget cuts this upcoming year, and I am seeking to help provide my students everything they need to be successful despite financial burden of the budget process.
My students have so many talents/abilities and are in need of a safe, judgement free space to experience their emotions while learning to navigate these feelings securely. They are spirited, energetic, eager learners who exude joy, love and LOTS of bright energy.
With your donation, the items will be used daily (& loved on frequently) to help them through this learning process. My students come to my office daily to help regulate, and reset themselves. And with these items, I know they’ll learn to be successful in whichever path they choose!
