This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our beautiful campus gardens bring nature closer to the classroom than ever before, offering places for students to learn, connect and engage their senses during the school day.

San Martin-Gwinn students report increased feelings of belonging, happiness, relaxation & excitement when engaging in hands-on garden activities together.

Our school gardens help students learn how to work together collaboratively and practice interpersonal communication skills.

Help me offer my students weather proof garden signage that reminds them of their importance, strength, potential and value in our community even when they are not in garden class!
