Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students are very special because they like to learn on the importance on how to manage emotions, cope with stress, and trauma. As a social emotional coach, I would like to provide SEL resources to students during small groups, one on ones and guided lessons, such as the inflatable PeaPod and A Little SPOT of Feelings book set. By donating to our project, you will not only help improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help increase their academic achievement. The increase of self-awareness, self-esteem, and social awareness and responsible decision making will occur with the possible resources that were selected. Students may visit my room when feeling stressed and may use the donated items to help relax in the safe space.
