I have 25 third graders in my classroom. They are amazing humans who want to be the best they can be. I love spending my days with them! I am looking for tools to help them with emotion regulation and focus. This project includes several items that can help students find their calm or get their wiggles out.

My job is to educate the whole child; this includes intentional social emotional instruction about feelings, responsibility, and relationships. I am also requesting several books that will help me teach my students these interpersonal skills with stories they can relate to. As a reading specialist, I have learned the power of using stories to teach lessons. Students remember the characters and connect with the stories, so the lessons remain in their hearts and minds long after the reading is done.
