This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our Lions are learning how to regulate emotions, make lasting friendships, and build their self efficacy. Our students have always wanted a class pet and we found a way to make that happen with the popular squishmallows.

Our students will love these 'pets' and practice their social emotional skills with them.

These pets will be used in the social emotional learning room and help students to feel comfortable when reflecting on behavior, practicing friendship skills, and will laugh when their pet has to learn how to regulate their emotions when they forget to use their skills!
