My Project

These books will provide excellent learning opportunities for social-emotional learning. Reading aloud builds relationships, models effective reading skills, fosters vocabulary development, and promotes discussion. As a new school counselor, I will use the books for classroom lessons, small groups, and with individuals as a springboard to discuss important issues.

This project aims to create a social-emotional library I can use with students in my Title I school.

There are approximately 600 students; 70% low socioeconomic status, and 35% are English language learners. I hope to foster academic achievement and social-emotional development. Please consider donating to my project.
