My Project

Hi! I'm working with students who have severe social and emotional disabilities and it is my dream to create a space for them that provides comfort and eases their anxiety. Having different options of flexible seating allows students to feel comfortable and safe which eventually leads students to being open and willing to learn.

This chair is the first step towards reaching that goal.

I will use this chair for students to take breaks in when they are experiencing anxiety. Additionally, it would provide alternate seating which will encourage some of my students to complete their work. Thank you so much for your consideration.
