My Project

SEL is very important to teach and to work on with my class. My students require more resources to help them learn about their own social-emotional learning needs. The social-emotional experiences of my students can vary from small peer conflicts during the day to severe personal trauma. My students need to learn how to identify those feelings, find ways to work through them, and then use taught strategies or provided tools to work to regulate the feelings they experience.

This project will provide tools to facilitate discussions on identifying feelings and ways to work through those feelings.

For example, the fidget toys will be put in our calm-down corner in our room for students to use when they need time and space to work on regulating their emotions. Please donate to this project to help provide the necessary tools for my students to better their own social-emotional growth in and out of the classroom.
