My Project

My K - 5 students love learning through stories written by Julia Cook! Many of my students are children with ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Intellectual Disabilities. My students struggle with self control, personal space, social skills, accepting criticism, and being responsible. These Julia Cook books- Personal Space Camp, Baditude, I have Ants in my Pants, Ricky Sticky fingers and more- are so engaging and they love and relate to the characters!

I love seeing my students excited to hear what the characters in her books are going to do!

When my students see themselves in these characters they are very engaged in their counseling. Help me add to my library to support my student's social emotional growth!

The visual timer is going to help my students stay on task with getting their work done in the classroom, making them feel more successful and helping their mental health !
