My Project

These books will be housed in a central location in our school and available for all teachers and staff to use with their classes. In addition to that, the principal, assistant principal, and guidance counselor will be using them with classes throughout the school year.

These books are all focused on helping students realize that all emotions are okay to feel, label their emotions, and discover healthy ways to behave in response to the emotions they are feeling.

Between Covid-19 and the many struggles our students face, social -emotional learning is becoming more relevant to our students and more crucial for their development. With the use of these books, we hope that students become more aware of their emotions and are taught healthy responses to those emotions.
